Lloyd Ricks Jr. grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Philadelphia in 2007 in order to attend Drexel University for Computer Engineering and later Temple University for a Master’s in Business Administration. Since coming to Philadelphia, he has actively sought challenging opportunities in order to more meaningfully engage with the community. He has performed various volunteer functions within the not for profit sector ranging from providing free tax services to low income Philadelphians to partnering with new civically minded organizations looking to establish standard operating procedures while working with them to acquire their 501(C)(3) status.
Lloyd currently works for Cigna Health Services as a IT Program Manager leading Federal and State Regulatory Compliance Programs. Throughout his career, he has focused on solid delivery of final products that meet the true unspoken needs of his customers in order to hone his ability to bridge the gap between strategy and execution make him the ideal candidate to govern strategic initiatives.
In his spare time, you will find Lloyd baking, watching Netflix, or just out having a good time with family and friends.
