Jasmine grew up in central New Jersey but has called Philadelphia home since 2019.
She currently works at the William Penn Foundation as a member of their grant making team for arts and culture and public space. She previously worked in higher education in a variety of roles from global policy to civic engagement. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and Nonviolence from Colorado College.
Jasmine is passionate about using community building as a tool to create a more just and equitable world. In 2021, she completed YIP’s Board Prep Program. She joined the YIP Board in 2022 and is on the Development, Communications, and Board Prep Program Committees.
In her free time, Jasmine enjoys running in all types of weather, exploring Philly parks by bike, and cooking eccentric vegetarian dishes.
Jasmine is the chair of Development and co-chair of Board Prep.
